Ethical Education for Children

We believe the foundation of an ethical and moral life begins with how we treat others – following Felix Adler’s motto of “deed before creed.”

The Ethical Humanist Society of Asheville has leaders who have developed and run ethical education programs for children and we are ready to offer such a Sunday program here in Asheville if there is sufficient interest. The program uses stories, discussion and community service as the basis for learning ethics. Children develop vital critical thinking skills for understanding right from wrong – using real-world ethical issues like poverty, injustice and community responsibility.
