Ethical Humanist Celebrants
Ethical Humanist Celebrants are trained and licensed to perform weddings, funerals and other ceremonies. As the “clergy” of Ethical Humanist Societies and Ethical Culture Societies, celebrants are authorized under the law to perform weddings. If you have any questions about the authorization of a celebrant, you may contact the AEU office for clarification.
